Harrison Ingram has come to terms on his first professional contract.

After being selected with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the former UNC basketball standout has agreed to a two-way contract with the San Antonio Spurs.

Ingram debuted for the Spurs during NBA Summer League action, as he helped guide the franchise's summer league squad to a 4-1 record. As a starter, Ingram was heavily relied on, as he averaged 28.6 minutes per-game while averaging 10 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest.

In just one season in Chapel Hill, Ingram made his presence known, as he put together his best year of his collegiate career. A transfer from Stanford, Ingram joined the UNC basketball program and immediately made an impact, as he averaged a career-best 12.2 points to go along with 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.

Playing more as a "stretch four," Hubert Davis asked Ingram to do more in the paint, especially in regard to rebounding, as Ingram worked on his craft and became one of the team's best rebounder. He helped take some of the pressure off Armando Bacot, the program's all-time leading rebounder, as he developed a knack for being able to be a force on the glass.

A third-team All-ACC selection, Ingram was a major addition to a Tar Heels squad that made a trip to the Sweet 16. Not only is he a great basketball player but is a tremendous locker room guy, as his upbeat personality and leadership skills are very noticeable.

Ingram could've returned to Chapel Hill for another season but felt it was time to take on the next chapter of his basketball career. Now, Ingram will use his two-way contract to earn some minutes with the Spurs' G-League affiliate while working to earn a permanent spot on the team's active roster.
