Class of 2026 recruit Kendre Harrison is the best dual-sport athlete in North Carolina. The rising junior from Reidsville, North Carolina, holds offers from both the UNC football and basketball programs.
Harrison is ranked the No. 5 power forward in the nation by 247Sports and the No. 1 tight end in the nation for the Class of 2026. He won a state championship in both sports during his sophomore year.
In February, he went viral on social media for shattering the backboard on a monstrous slam in one of his high school games as a sophomore.

As if one time wasn't enough, Harrison showed how his football strength continues to translate to the court in a new video that surfaced Tuesday on Twitter, revealing that Harrison shattered two backboards in just three months.
The video by SLAM HS Hoops claims that the shattered backboards resulted in the principal of Reidsville High School banning basketball at the school for the rest of the year.

Harrison is currently playing in the U16 EYBL league to improve his game this off-season. Harrison is leading his age group in rebounding this summer, averaging 9.4 a game.
In his sophomore season at Reidsville High School, Harrison did his best Amando Bacot impression. He was a double-double machine, averaging 19.4 points and an insane 15.1 rebounds per game.
The UNC basketball and football programs are doing everything they can to keep the in-state talent home, and Harrison and his family have appreciated the efforts.
Harrison told Inside Carolina in May that when looking for a school to commit to, his "ending decision would be a school that [he] could play both at," and that he had "good feelings towards North Carolina."
