UNC Basketball: Drastic changes in ACC men's basketball rankings before the final week of the regular season

The top of the list stayed the same, but the rest left a LOT of changes leading into the final week of the 2023-2024 college basketball regular season.

There's one week left of the 2023-2024 college basketball regular season, as there's still plenty to be determined for a handful of ACC teams.

Of course, the attention will turn to the top of the standings, as the UNC basketball program and Duke battle it out for the top spot. It could ultimately come down to the final meeting of the regular season between the two rivals on Saturday night, as the game in Durham is expected to be a huge one for both sides (as always).

For the others, well, there are some teams that are currently on the bubble in terms of NCAA Tournament status, as a big week (plus some wins in the ACC Tournament) could definitely help boost their stock.

At this point, North Carolina, Duke and Clemson seem to be locks, while there's three of four others who could end up making a valid case to get in when the bracket is finalized.

However, we have three, yes, three, more ACC men's basketball rankings for ya this season, as here's how they'll go:

Obviously, this week (which we appreciate you reading!)
Next week (Final regular season rankings- March 11)
The following week- (Following the ACC Tournament- March 18)

Let's get into this week's rankings, where there are PLENTY of changes from a week ago.

. . . 15. 15. . . . . 438

Louisville had a stretch there where it looked like they would at least be competitive down the stretch, but that hasn't been the case for the Cardinals as they've now lost five in a row.

The future of the program seems to be in doubt, as Kenny Payne very well could be on the hot seat. It's been another rough season for Louisville, who will look to turn things around in 2024-2025.
