UNC Basketball: Big changes to this week's ACC men's basketball rankings
Heading into the new week of action (January 29), our weekly ACC men's basketball rankings look a bit different than they did a week ago.
13-7 Record. VA Tech. . 5-4 in ACC Play. . 6. . . . 447
You may think No. 6 is a bit high for the Hokies, but they've been playing some good basketball of late.
Having won three straight games, we'll see if Virginia Tech is serious this week. They'll host Duke and travel to Miami, as wins in one (or both) of those games could help put the Hokies back in the mix for a potential NCAA Tournament bid.
The good news for Virginia Tech is that they have teams on their upcoming schedule that could provide them with some resume-building wins if they can find ways to continue their hot stretch.
