UNC Basketball: Armando Bacot is already putting his college degree to good use!
If you didn't already know: Armando Bacot is much more than just a basketball player.
The former UNC basketball star showed his ability to thrive in the NIL world, as his background in business management (notably through the prestigious Kenan-Flager Business School at North Carolina) has helped set himself up nicely once his basketball career is over.
While he's still working to play professional basketball, Bacot is wasting no time making a big splash in the business world, as he's partnered with ATMA Hotel Group to build his first hotel.
Bacot posted pictures on social media not only of the construction site but also of the projected finished product, as his first hotel will be located in the Raleigh Crabtree Valley off Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina.
In case you were wondering: the hotel is approximately 47 minutes away from the Dean Smith Center.
As someone who is heavily invested in business, especially the stock market, Bacot hasn't been afraid to venture into various opportunities. He's decided that the hotel industry is something that he can benefit from pursuing, as this marks the first (of what seems to be many) hotels that Bacot plans on building in the future.
Needless to say: if you're in the area once the project is complete, make sure you enjoy your stay at the Atma Hotel in Raleigh.
Who knows: maybe you'll run into Armando Bacot during your stay!
