UNC Basketball: ACC Men's Basketball rankings for the week of January 8
The Keeping It Heel team is providing our weekly ACC rankings for men's college basketball. Where does the UNC basketball program currently stand?
10-5 Record. . . 444. . 1-3 in ACC Play. 8. Pittsburgh Panthers. .
I truly believe that Pittsburgh is better than their 1-3 record in ACC play, as the Panthers suffered two losses to Clemson and North Carolina, both top 25-caliber squads.
The Panthers are a team that I think can surprise people in the ACC, especially after their slow start in conference play. Don't be surprised if this group gets hot and upsets one of the better teams in the conference, especially on their home court.
Give them credit: they hung with the Tigers and Tar Heels. If they got blown out, their ranking would have probably been lower.
