After a strong win over Wake Forest, the NC State Wolfpack followed it up by suffering a loss at home to Virginia Tech.
What looked to be the Wolfpack's week to challenge the top dogs ended up being a week in which they drop a spot in the rankings.
Two road games are on the slate for the Wolfpack this week, as they aim to take down both Virginia and Syracuse. Looking at it from a broad perspective, the schedule could be rather favorable for NC State up until their rematch with Wake Forest on February 10.
