Cormac Ryan has quickly developed into a leader of the UNC basketball program, as we've seen in flashes just what he can bring to the table as a scorer.

For a veteran transfer who knows the ACC extremely well, Ryan (if healthy) will put together some big-time performances for this year's squad.

His ankles will be the tale of how the next few weeks go. If he's healthy and isn't restricted by his previous injuries (one that was recently re-aggravated in the Clemson win), we expect Ryan to start being more of a scoring threat for the Tar Heels.

Ryan came to Chapel Hill with a reputation of being a good shooter. A career 34.5% shooter from three-point range, the former Notre Dame guard has only knocked down 28.1% of his attempts so far as a Tar Heel, as we truly expect that to change as the season rolls along.

When Ryan starts lighting it up from three, opponents better watch out!
