It's officially time to close out the 2024 recruiting cycle, as 247Sports released its final individual player rankings this week.

The UNC basketball program ends this recruiting cycle with three commitments. Not a major haul for the Tar Heels, but it's a group that features a good amount of star power.

Let's start with Ian Jackson, who finishes the cycle as a five-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 8 overall prospect in the class, as his ranking did not change since the last list was released.

Along with Jackson, Drake Powell also finishes the cycle as a five-star player, giving North Carolina two of the top available players in the class. He finishes three spots behind his future teammate Jackson at No. 11, as he also didn't see any change from his previous ranking.

To cap off the UNC basketball program's recruiting class is big man James Brown, who is regarded as a three-star prospect. He dropped one spot from his previous ranking to finish as the No. 110 overall player in the class.

Fans of the UNC basketball program are excited for this trio to arrive on campus this summer, as they have the talent and potential to make an immediate impact on next year's squad. The Tar Heels will look a bit different than they did a season ago, but the fresh new faces should add some intrique heading into the 2024-2025 season and potentially beyond.
