As if we weren't already hyped up enough for the start of the 2024 College World Series on Friday afternoon!

On the eve of the Tar Heels first appearance in Omaha since 2018, the UNC baseball program released a hype video to really get everyone fired up.

We don't want to spoil it, so we suggest you watch it for yourself!

Titled, "back home," UNC baseball legend Chad Flack was called upon to narrate the video. Of course, Flack is one of the most recognizable players in program history, as he knows quite a bit about how to get to (and thrive) in these type of postseason settings.

Flack led the Diamond Heels to three straight College World Series appearances, as he put together some of the biggest hits in program history in the process.

Who could forget his two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning at Alabama in the NCAA Super Regional to send the Tar Heels to the 2026 College World Series, or his go-ahead two-run home run in the seventh inning in the third and deciding Super Regional game against South Carolina just a year later.

Oh yeah, Flack followed it up by hitting a game-winning two-run homer against Fresno State in the 2008 College World Series.

Needless to say, this dude had ice in his veins!

Although Flack was the headliner, he wasn't the only former Diamond Heel to make an appearance. Rob Wooten, Kyle Seager, Matt Harvey, Kent Emanuel, Daniel Bard, Alex White, Jacob Stallings and of course, the legend himself, Mike Fox, all appeared at the end of the video.

As perfectly stated in the video, the UNC baseball program is back home... in Omaha.

I don't know about you, but I'm FIRED up!
