When you put together a three home run performance, you deserve some type of recognition.
However, it wasn't just one great performance for Parks Harber last week, as the UNC baseball slugger earned multiple player of the week honors for his efforts.

The honor came from DI Baseball, as Harber was named the national player of the week. As indicated in their above graphic, Harber blasted six home runs, as those long balls were part of a consecutive five-game stretch in which he hit a baseball out of the ballpark.
Shortly after, Harber was tabbed as the ACC Player of the Week, as it was very likely that a Diamond Heel would earn the award following the team's weekend sweep of nationally ranked Wake Forest.

It's hard to argue these honors considering the week Harber put together. The former Georgia slugger is on a power surge, as him, and the Diamond Heels offense, has simply been on a roll as of late.
When Scott Forbes brought Harber to Chapel Hill, the hope was that he could continue providing power to the Tar Heels offense. Over the last stretch of games, Harber has done just that, as the Diamond Heels are hopeful that he can continue to provide a spark in the middle of their order over the next couple of weeks.
Harber and the UNC baseball program will be back in action on Thursday as they travel to Charlottesville for a three-game series against the Virginia Cavaliers.
