Top-tier transfer set to visit the UNC basketball program
Could the UNC basketball program lure arguably the top available transfer to Chapel Hill?
As the UNC basketball program looks at options to fill the vacancy left by Armando Bacot's departure, one of the top available players in the transfer portal may end up being an option for them.

He also plans to visit Louisville April 16th-18th and Kansas State April 19th-21st. He’ll then visit North Carolina and Florida the following week.

Arizona big man Oumar Ballo has begun scheduling official visits, as he's set to visit Indiana, Louisville and Kansas State over the next week. The following week, the talented seven-footer is expected to make a trip to Chapel Hill to visit the UNC basketball program.
Regardless of position, Ballo is arguably the top available player in the transfer portal. After starting his career at Gonzaga, the Koulikoro, Mali native found a home at Arizona, as he's been a starter for the Wildcats in each of the past two seasons.
In 36 games this season, Ballo averaged 12.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. He connected on a staggering 65.8% of his shot attempts, as his 64.6% career shooting percentage just goes to show how good he is at putting the ball in the basket around the paint area.
Not only is he an offensive force, but is just as good on the defensive end. He has the ability to be an elite shot blocker and rim protector, something the UNC basketball program will desperately need as they look to replace Bacot's production.
Needless to say, landing an official visit from Ballo is major news for North Carolina. His resume speaks for itself, as he would be a very nice addition to next year's squad, especially if RJ Davis and Harrison Ingram elect to return.
