The UNC basketball program's 2024-2025 non-conference schedule is officially set!
We are another step closer to the UNC basketball program returning to action!
On Tuesday, North Carolina released its official non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-2025 season. While we did know the majority of the games previously, the dates of each contest are now set, as the Tar Heels will once again face a competitive non-conference slate.
Elon (Nov. 4)
@ Kansas (Nov. 8)
American (Nov. 15)
@ Hawaii (Nov. 22)
Maui Invitational (Nov. 25-27)
Alabama (Dec. 4, ACC/SEC)
La Salle (Dec. 14)
Florida (Dec. 17, Charlotte, Jumpman)
UCLA (Dec. 21, NYC, CBS Classic)
Campbell (Dec. 29)
The UNC basketball program will face an extremely tough road challenge on the first week of the season, as their second game will take them to Kansas to square off against the Jayhawks. The non-conference schedule also includes a trip to Hawaii for the Maui Invitational, an ACC/SEC clash with Alabama, a Jumpman Invitational battle with Florida as well as a return trip to the Big Apple to take on UCLA in the annual CBS Sports Classic.
Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels aren't afraid of facing some elite competition through non-conference play, as these contests not only boost their NCAA Tournament resume but will help prepare them for the challenges that the Atlantic Coast Conference presents.
This is just part of the 2024-2025 schedule, as the conference schedule should follow within the immediate future, but based on what we know, the UNC basketball program will be challenged throughout the entire season by facing a gauntlet of quality opponents.
