It's no secret that RJ Davis has been one of the best shooters in the country during the 2023-2024 season.

On Saturday, Davis again reminded us of that as he tied a program record for most consecutive games with multiple three-point field goals.

Davis has now connected on multiple three-pointers in 15 consecutive games, tying the record that Justin Jackson put together during the 2016-2017 season. He tied the mark with a three-point field goal early in the second half against Boston College on Saturday afternoon.

Fans of the UNC basketball program can certainly hope that this is a sign of good things to come, as Jackson went on to win the ACC Player of the Year while leading the Tar Heels to a national title in the process in the year he previously set the record.

With the way Davis has been playing, it wouldn't be a surprise at all to see the senior guard from White Plains, New York follow a similar path over the next few months.

What more can you say about Davis, as he's been playing at an elite level in what could be his final season in Carolina Blue. When you discuss the best players in college basketball, Davis must be included among this short list of student-athletes, as he's been the focal point in the Tar Heels 14-3 start to the 2023-2024 season.

North Carolina Tar Heels fans have been fortunate to watch Davis' growth over his career in Chapel Hill, as the hope is that Davis' incredible senior season will continue, resulting in some team recognitions as well as a potential new jersey being added to the rafters at the Dean Smith Center in honor of what Davis has accomplished as a member of the UNC basketball program.
