If you've watched the UNC basketball program play at all this season (and during RJ Davis' time with the program), you likely have seen Davis' celebration (featured in the image above) after making three-point field goals.

Well, we've seen quite a lot of that celebration this season. In fact, Davis has reached a single-season milestone that only one other Tar Heel has ever accomplished.

On Friday night in the ACC Tournament semifinals, Davis knocked down his 100th three-point field goal of the season. He now joins Justin Jackson as the only Tar Heels to ever record 100 or more three pointers in a single season.

Not only did Davis join Jackson on this very exclusive list, but he also reached the 2,000 career points mark in the process, continuing to rise up the UNC basketball program's all-time scoring list.

Davis has been sensational during his senior season in Chapel Hill, as his recent ACC Player of the Year Award as well as likely being named an All-American over the next few weeks are very indicative of just how good he's been this season.

And, as of now, it seems like Davis, and the Tar Heels, have much more that they want to play for.

Let's also remember: Davis can return for a fifth season if he so chooses. His decision will likely depend on how this season ends, but it is an interesting storyline to follow once the Tar Heels season comes to a close (hopefully not until early April!).

We can talk for days about what RJ Davis has accomplished as a member of the UNC basketball program, but only one word really seems to define what he's done throughout the 2023-2024 season.

Historic.
