When Brady Manek committed to the UNC basketball program as a transfer from Oklahoma, many people thought...

"Who is this Larry Bird look alike?!"

At the time, little did we know, Manek was going to be a major reason why the UNC basketball made a run to the national title game in Hubert Davis' first season at the helm.

Manek started the season by coming off the bench but emerged as a starter. He stayed in that role the rest of the way as Dawson Garcia, the previous starting forward, elected to transfer mid-season. Down the stretch, Manek was arguably the Tar Heels' best player, as he fit the "stretch four" position to absolute perfection.

To add to his on court success, Manek was an immediate leader for the Tar Heels both on and off the court, as his presence was missed the following season as he exhausted all his collegiate elibility.

Sure, Caleb Love and Armando Bacot get a lot of the love from that Final Four run, but Manek deserves a ton of credit for how he stepped on for the Tar Heels on the biggest stage in college basketball.

When you think of adding talent via the transfer portal, you hope to find a guy like Brady Manek, who can significantly impact your program in various ways.

You know how we would rank these former UNC basketball transfers. Now, the question remains: how would you rank these Tar Heels on your list?
