With plenty of roster space to work with, what would be the ideal 2025 recruiting class for Hubert Davis and the Tar Heels?

The focus in the recruiting world is currently led by the Class of 2025, as college programs across the country are working to add some future talent to their respective rosters.

Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are very much involved with this very talented class, as they have plenty of roster space to work with.

As of now (and of course, things change rapidly in the college basketball world), North Carolina is looking at four roster spots that are currently vacant for the 2025-2026 season. RJ Davis and Jae'Lyn Withers will be out of collegiate eligibility while some other Tar Heels may elect to enter the NBA Draft or even the transfer portal.

Based on everything we've heard, it seems like the Tar Heels have every intention of putting together a four-player recruiting class. Two guards, a wing who can score at all three levels and a versatile big man seem to be what the UNC basketball program is looking for, as they hope to find the perfect recipe to help replenish the roster.

We're all intrigued as to which prospects the Tar Heels will ultimately land, but here's the recruiting class that we believe makes sense (and is realistic) for the UNC basketball program.
