Now that we've reached game week, here's the projected depth chart for the UNC football program.
Special Teams
Starters:
Punter: Tom Maginness
Place Kicker: Noah Burnette
Kickoff Specialist: Liam Boyd
Punt Returner: Alijah Huzzie
Kickoff Returner: Chris Culliver
Nothing has really changed among this unit, but the Tar Heels need the punting unit to be MUCH better this upcoming season.
The hope is that Noah Burnette can continue his success from a season ago as the place-kicker, while Liam Boyd is expected to once again handle kickoff duties. In terms of returns, Alijah Huzzie will showcase his elite playmaking ability as a punt returner while the hope is that Chris Culliver will have more opportunities to return kickoffs this upcoming season.
