Previewing Round 1 of the UNC Basketball program's 2023-2024 rivalry series vs. Duke
The highly-anticipated first installment of this year's rivalry series between the UNC basketball program and Duke will take place in Chapel Hill on Saturday night.
Last Meeting
The UNC basketball program lost each of the two meetings a season ago, as the last meeting resulted in a 62-57 loss at the Dean Smith Center on March 4, 2023.
Armando Bacot, RJ Davis and Caleb Love combined for 45 of the Tar Heels 57 points, as the team as a whole shot a disappointing 30.4% from the floor. That includes massive struggles from beyond the arc, as the UNC basketball program connected on just five of 23 attempts from deep.
Kyle Filipowski led all scorers with 23 points, as Duke had four players score in double-figures.
