Postseason report card for the 2023-2024 UNC basketball program
Seth Trimble. ST. A-. .
Although Hubert Davis elected to play Paxson Wojcik over Elliot Cadeau and Seth Trimble in the second half of the Sweet 16 game, Trimble was still clearly the Tar Heels most valuable reserve player.
Defensively, Trimble was tasked with slowing down the opposing team's hot hand, while offensively he knocked down shots at a consistent rate. Towards the end of the season, we saw Trimble drive near the free throw line and knock down some jump shots, while he also made some three point attempts on occasion.
After a freshman season where he seemed timid, Trimble took tremendous strides during his sophomore season, as his numbers are a testament to that improvement.
Hopefully, Trimble decides to stay in Chapel Hill, as he can improve even more heading into what will be his junior season.
