Only three UNC basketball players have ever accomplished this...

RJ Davis has been putting together a historic senior season for the UNC basketball program.

The White Plains, New York native is currently leading the ACC in scoring, as he's put himself in a prime position to be considered the favorite for the ACC Player of the Year Award.

What this season has reminded us is just how good Davis has been as a member of the UNC basketball program, as he's joined some elite company in terms of putting together individual stats.

Davis is now just one of three Tar Heels to record 1,800 points, 300 assists, and 200 made three-pointers. The other two, well, we're definitely sure you've heard of them:

Joel Berry and Marcus Paige.

Of course, Berry and Paige are regarded among the best ever to wear the Carolina Blue, as Davis will definitely be in that conversation once his UNC basketball career comes to a close. He has developed into an elite player during his time in Chapel Hill, as his surge during his senior year is a testament to the hard work and dedication that he's put in along the way.

Although the individual accolades are nice, Davis certainly has one goal in mind: leading this year's team to a National Championship. If he continues to play at an elite level, there's no telling how far this UNC basketball team can go as he inch closer to postseason play.

Davis and the UNC basketball program will host Virginia Tech on Saturday afternoon, and then will have a week to prepare for a trip to Virginia to take on the Cavaliers in another important ACC clash.
