North Carolina Tar Heels launches official NIL Store

If you're a fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels and wish to support your favorite student-athletes, a prime opportunity to do so has just been released.

On Tuesday, the University of North Carolina announced the launch of its official NIL store. Fans now have the opportunity to purchase licensed merchandise that represents more than 200 Tar Heel student-athletes from all 28 teams.

As part of this launch, every Tar Heel student-athlete was offered the opportunity to participate in this NIL venture. The site features a digital locker room for each student-athlete that includes a collection of personalized products such as t-shirts and hoodies.

The merchandise includes individual names and jersey numbers of the participating student-athletes, as all merchandise is licensed by the University of North Carolina. Each student-athlete will receive payouts on every item sold from their respective locker room.

North Carolina now has joined the trend of hosting an NIL store, as numerous Division I institutions have already done so. Now through the university, fans will have the chance to buy gear that not only represents their favorite Tar Heels teams, but gear that also supports their favorite athletes as well.
