The UNC football program found a way to pull away on Saturday evening as they defeated non-conference foe NC Central.

John Copenhaver is part of the Tar Heels two-headed monster at the tight end position, but he's not typically the guy who is used much in the passing game.
However, Copenhaver is a very capable receiver and has shown that he can make plays happen when the ball is thrown his way.
Copenhaver led the Tar Heels with six catches for 60 yards. His 23-yard score at the beginning of the fourth quarter ended up putting the game out of reach, giving North Carolina a two score cushion that would expand as the final quarter played on.
