Marcus Allen has certainly had his ups and downs playing secondary for the UNC football program, but the cornerback made some big-time plays on Saturday afternoon.
The one that stood out the most was his open-field tackle in the red-zone, one that surely stopped the 49ers from scoring. They were forced to settle for a field goal following that huge stop.
Additionally, Allen nearly had an interception and finished the afternoon with seven total tackles, leading the team.
