The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced that UNC basketball standout Harrison Ingram is one of 10 candidates on the Mid Season Watch List for the 2024 Julius Erving Award. Named after Hall of Famer Julius Erving, the annual honor, in its 10th year, recognizes the top small forwards in Division I men's college basketball.

A transfer from Stanford, Ingram has been a huge addition for North Carolina. The junior forward has thrived in his role as a "stretch four," as he's currently averaging a career-high 12.1 points per game.

Ingram has been an absolute beast on the glass as well, as he's currently averaging 8.8 rebounds per contest. His rebounding numbers have escalated in conference play, as he's recorded 10+ rebound performances in seven of the Tar Heels 10 conference games, including a 19-rebound outing against NC State and an additional 17-rebound effort at Florida State.

Not only has Ingram done a little bit of everything for the UNC basketball program, but his leadership abilities are also very valuable for this group. With a veteran group in place, Ingram has been one of the spark plugs in terms of energy and effort, as he's a guy that will impact the game positively even when his shots aren't falling.

Here is the list of candidates who were named to the 2024 Julius Erving Award Midseason Top 10 List. It's important to note that players can play their way on or off the list at any point during the 2023-2024 season.
