When his name was called by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round of the 2024 NBA Draft, it was a homecoming type of moment for former UNC basketball standout Harrison Ingram.

A Dallas, Texas native, Ingram definitely knows about the history of his new team, as the Spurs have developed into one of the iconic franchises that the sport has to offer.

There's been quite a few legendary players who have worn the Spurs uniform, including this very notable legend who had Ingram essentially starstruck.

Watch the video to see for yourself.

After being introduced to NBA Hall of Famer Tim Duncan, you can see the excitement in Ingram's face. Having been born in 2002, Ingram was alive to witness at least half of Duncan's outstanding career, as it's very likely that he was a player Ingram grew up watching as he aspired to one day play in the NBA.

"That's Tim Duncan, man, he just dapped me up! I'm not washing my hand for like a year!"

Well, it all came full-circle as Ingram had the opportunity to meet one of the greatest Spurs players of all-time.

The cool thing is: there's probably more legends that Ingram will meet along the way. He has the honor of being coached by the iconic Gregg Popovich, and there are likely some more former players who will stop by the Spurs facilities over the next couple of months as well.

Based on his reaction of meeting Tim Duncan, expect Ingram to be just as excited to meet some other former Spurs greats as he hopes to make his own impact on the franchise throughout his NBA career.
