We get it... some of you may think it's too early to start talking about the upcoming UNC football season.

However, we did receive some news today regarding the Tar Heels' first three games of 2024.

Game times and television designations have been released for the UNC football program's first three contests, all of which are non-conference matchups.

The Tar Heels will kick off the 2024 season on primetime, as their game at Minnesota will be on Thursday night on FOX starting at 8:00 PM EST.

North Carolina's home opener against Charlotte will be held on Saturday, September 7. The game will be aired on ACC Network and is scheduled to kickoff at 3:30 PM EST.

The following Saturday, the UNC football program will host NCCU for a 6:00 PM EST matchup. That game will be aired on ACC Network Extra.

As the season inches closer, we'll start to learn more about the UNC football program's 2024 schedule. Although we know when and where the Tar Heels will play, some important details (such as dates, times and television networks) are still to follow.

The good news is: the Tar Heels will be featured on primetime to open the season, as fans will easily be able to access the UNC football program's game against Minnesota. It should be an interesting one for sure, as the post-Drake Maye era is set to begin in Chapel Hill (with the team's starting quarterback still to be determined).
