The former Diamond Heel is simply on fire at the plate, as he's making the most of his everyday at-bats as a member of the Chicago Cubs.

Since 1901, not a single rookie in Chicago Cubs history hit a home run in four consecutive games.

On Sunday, former UNC baseball star Michael Busch made some history.

Busch deposited a baseball into the seats for a fourth consecutive game, as he's now the only Cubs rookie to homer in four straight contests. His latest homer is an impressive one, as he hit it off Seattle Mariners ace and three-time All-Star Luis Castillo.

All you need is an opportunity, as Busch continues to prove that on a regular basis. Through his early stint with the Cubs organization, the former Diamond Heel is hitting .327 with five home runs and 11 runs batted in over 49 plate appearances.

Tar Heel fans can attest to how good Busch is at the sport of baseball, as he went on to be a first round pick in the 2019 MLB Draft. Although the team he was drafted by, the Los Angeles Dodgers, couldn't find everyday at-bats for him, the offseason trade to the Cubs has paid early dividends for the former Diamond Heels star.

Busch continues to prove that he's an everyday player at the big league level, as the Cubs hope that he can continue being a strong presence in their lineup not only for this season, but for years to come.
