While the current focus is on the Class of 2025, college coaches across the country are still keeping close tabs on their top Class of 2026 targets.

Amari Byles is one of the most sought-after Class of 2026 players. The 6-foor-2 forward is currently ranked by ESPN HoopGurlz as a five-star talent and the No. 13 overall ranked player in the class.

This week, Byles made an official visit to Chapel Hill to see Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program, sharing some photos from her visit shortly after it concluded.

Byles shared some photos of her and Banghart and a group photo with the current members of the UNC women's basketball team. It's a friendly reminder of a very important factor:

Recruiting is a full-team effort, not just up to the coaching staff.

The current roster can make a MAJOR impact in recruiting, given that potential recruits can see the atmosphere that is currently in place. This provides the student-athlete with the opportunity to see how things operate at a specific university, as the bond shared between the players at North Carolina is as close-knit as you'll find in the country.

If you follow some of the top high school prospects who are considering North Carolina, it's very likely that they've shared a photo with most of (if not the entire team) when they visited campus. This just goes to show how invested everyone is in this program, as Banghart continues to build something special in Chapel Hill.

The UNC women's basketball program has recently earned commitments from two Class of 2025 stars and surely aren't done on the recruiting trail. Could Byles' visit to campus prove to her that Chapel Hill is the right place for her?

We sure hope that's the case!
