The recruitment of Nate Ament is heating up!

The five-star Class of 2025 star has told HS Top Recruits that he plans on visiting the following schools at some point this fall:

UConn
Kentucky
Duke
North Carolina
Virginia

It is an ACC-heavy list, but the good news is that the UNC basketball program seems to be right in the mix for the 6-foot-9 forward's services. According to 247Sports, Ament has reportedly scheduled visits to Kentucky (August 28) and Virginia (September 14), with dates for the other three listed programs to be determined.

Ament's rankings fluctuate by which site you are viewing, but there are two common trends. For starters, Ament is widely regarded as the top prospect coming out of the state of Virginia. The other is that if you look at the industry comparison, the most notable recruiting sites all agree that this is a top-10 overall talent in the Class of 2025.

Adding a player of Ament's caliber would be a major addition to the UNC basketball program's 2025 recruiting class, as the Tar Heels have earned any commitments up to this point. However, don't be alarmed, as Hubert Davis and his staff are putting in the work to put themselves in a prime position to acquire some of the elite talent that this graduating class has to offer.
