The return of the EA Sports College Football game has drawn a ton of attention and hype, as college football fans are amped up at the opportunity to play as their favorite team.

As the latest edition of the game is expected to drop at some point this summer, we received confirmation that the UNC football program will be included.

On social media, EA Sports confirmed that all 134 FBS schools will be a part of College Football 25. Although this shouldn't be considered a surprise, it's great to officially know that the UNC football program has agreed to be a part of the game.

As the launch date draws closer by the day, it feels like EA Sports is teasing us with information to add to the hype. A full reveal of the game will come in May, but of course, we'll all be waiting to find out more about what the game has to offer!

A recent report from The Athletic confirmed that players who opt-in to having their Name, Image & Likeness used in the game will receive $600 in compensation along with a copy of the game. There's a very good chance that some (if not all) of your favorite current UNC football players are available players for you to use when the game officially launches.

It's been a while since we've had a new college football video game released, as the hope is that some of the old game modes and features are part of this edition. Hey, maybe we'll even get a mode that is similar to Madden's "Ultimate Team," where you can build your own team made up of players from different colleges (or even a UNC football themed team if you're up for that type of challenge!).

If you play video games, get ready for the return of the EA Sports College Football video game series!
