The UNC football program hosted its annual Pro Day on Thursday, as close to 20 former Tar Heels participated in hopes of gaining the attention of NFL scouts.

Of course, the headliner was Drake Maye, who seemed to really impress the NFL executives that were in attendance. The former Tar Heels' quarterback made about 60 throws, showcasing his talent and arm strength.

As Maye is expected to be a top-five pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, there are only a handful of teams that believe they have a legitimate chance of selecting him. According to Jim Nagy, here are the teams that sent executives to focus on Maye's workout:

Chicago- Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach
Washington- General Manager, Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator
New England- General Manager, Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks Coach
Denver- Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach
Pittsburgh- Offensive Coordinator
Las Vegas- Offensive Coordinator
Minnesota- Quarterbacks Coach

Cedric Gray also drew a rather big crowd of linebackers coaches from various NFL teams:

Buffalo
Pittsburgh
Minnesota
New York (Giants)
Cincinnati

Additionally, the New York Jets sent their wide receivers coach to take a closer look at Devontez "Tez" Walker. As the Jets need another playmaker, imagine plugging Walker into an offense that already features Garrett Wilson, Breece Hall, and, of course, Aaron Rodgers.

It was great to see so many NFL executives in Chapel Hill on Thursday afternoon, as players from the UNC football program had the opportunity to showcase their skills by competing in various drills.

Who knows, maybe the Pro Day helped prove to NFL teams that certain players deserve a closer look than they've originally earned while also helping some of the program's top-tier prospects prove that they should hear their name called early on in the draft.

Remember, it only takes one team to fall in love with a player.
