Agot Makeer is regarded as one of the top prospects in the Class of 2025.

The Ontario, Canada native is ranked as the No. 4 player in her graduating class (according to ESPN HoopGurlz) and has had plenty of scholarship offers to choose from.

Now, Makeer is focusing on six schools, as Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program are still firmly in the mix.

Makeer announced that she is focusing on the following schools in her recruitment: Duke, South Carolina, UConn, Kentucky, Michigan State, and North Carolina. While discussing her recruitment with Dushawn London of 247Sports, the 6-foot-1 standout had this to say about the Tar Heels:

"I have a really good relationship with Coach Banghart and they kept in touch with me a lot. It's also North Carolina and I like that area. When I took that visit, she had a really good plan for me."

Courtney Banghart and the UNC women's basketball program have already been thriving on the 2025 recruiting cycle, currently having two five-star talents committed to head to Chapel Hill next season. It would be a huge recruiting victory if Banghart and the Tar Heels can convince Makeer to call Chapel Hill home, but the competition is going to be very steep leading up to her final decision (which is expected to be in early November).

Based on her success on the recruiting trail, Courtney Banghart is certainly up for the challenge and will do anything she can to help bring another star talent to North Carolina.
