Now competing in the NFL against each other, these former UNC football stars made sure to have a special moment after their game on Sunday.

On Sunday afternoon, the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots in overtime.

While you might be thinking, "why does this matter to UNC football fans?" the answer is simple.

What happened after the game is something Tar Heel fans need to see!

Although neither one played for their respective teams on Sunday, former Tar Heel quarterbacks Sam Howell and Drake Maye shared a special moment on the field after the game as they swapped jerseys with one another.

Howell and Maye have a strong connection dating back to their time together during the UNC football program. Even after Howell departed for the NFL, both Tar Heels remained extremely close, a bond that still is very strong to this day.

This is another friendly reminder of how spoiled Tar Heels fans were during their time in Chapel Hill, as two of the best quarterbacks in program history essentially overlapped each other on campus. The only thing that would have made the moment better was if they would've both competed against each other in the game, as the hope is that they'll have the opportunity to do so at some point in the future.

I don't know about you, but I definitely miss watching both of these guys playing at the University of North Carolina.
