It's a big weekend in Chapel Hill, as the UNC basketball program is hosting one of the players that they've heavily recruited in the transfer portal.

While Cade Tyson's official visit started on Friday afternoon, it didn't take long for this college basketball analyst to put his Crystal Ball Prediction in.

Travis Branham of 247Sports believes that Tyson will ultimately end up a Tar Heel. He placed his Crystal Ball Prediction just before 6:00 EST on Friday afternoon.

You might have some doubts about the Crystal Ball Predictions, as obviously they could end up being wrong. However, it's important to note that Branham was the one to first report about Tyson's scheduled visits to Tennessee and North Carolina, as something must be brewing for him to be confident in making the prediction.

This past season, Tyson was a lethal offensive weapon, averaging 16.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Based on the NCAA's criteria for three-point shooting percentage, Tyson ranks second nationally for the 2023-2024 season.

With Cormac Ryan departing and the decisions for RJ Davis and Harrison Ingram pending, finding legitimate scoring options will be at the top of the UNC basketball program's to-do list. There were rumblings regarding a potential connection to the Tar Heels prior to North Carolina officially reaching out, as the 6-foot-7 standout might look to return to his home state for the next stop in his career.

If all goes well on his visit to Chapel Hill this weekend, we might not have to wait long for Cade Tyson to make his future decision.

Needless to say: adding a player of Cade Tyson's caliber (especially in regard to shooting the basketball) would be a HUGE addition for the UNC basketball program this offseason.
