Chaos. Absolute Chaos!

If you think I'm referring to the UNC football program's collapse against Duke, you may be partially correct.

However, I was referring to the chaos that hit the top 25 in the college football world this weekend, as we saw some insane games along with some big upsets. I don't want to pat myself on the back (but I will, anyways), but I mentioned last week how I thought Kentucky would give Ole Miss a run for their money.

This week, the rankings definitely look different, as so many factors needed to be taken into consideration. The biggest question was: which team deserves the top spot this week?

I tried my best to provide that answer below:

Okay... that was harder than I thought it would be.

The first problem to figure out was how far does Georgia slide down the list. Given they held the No. 1 spot last week, I still believe they are a College Football Playoff caliber team, they've just hit a bump in the road. I moved them down 9 spots because it was difficult to justify having them above teams who haven't lost yet (and are playing well), so the Bulldogs have a lot to prove.

Next, the issue as to who takes over the top spot. Given the way the rankings went a week ago, I moved the Longhorns into the top spot this week, as they were close to taking it over prior to Georgia's loss to Alabama.

For the Crimson Tide fans who may be upset by this: Texas takes on Georgia next week in a contest that could shake things up again!

Utah and Ole Miss both fell out of the rankings while Iowa State and USC climbed in. I still don't know what to think of the Big 12 as I'm not sold on any of those teams, while there are four or five teams that could've been in USC's spot, but ultimately I went with the Trojans.

Also- as a Site Expert of an ACC school's website, I can honestly say that the ACC STINKS. Miami drops to No. 3 after almost suffering a loss against Virginia Tech, as the conference as a whole is very weak.

Honestly, this task gets harder by the week. Maybe I shouldn't have begged for some upsets last week (just kidding, we still love chaos in college football!)
