Playoff Coby White has officially been activated!
The former UNC basketball star made his postseason debut with his new team on Tuesday night in the NBA Play-In game. He made a significant impact in the Charlotte Hornets' overtime victory over the Miami Heat, keeping their season alive at least for another few days.
Coby White comes up clutch in his Hornets' postseason debut
White was simply unconscious in the third quarter, scoring 14 of his 19 points in the frame. He drained four three-pointers in the quarter alone, including this insane buzzer-beater to send the game into the final quarter of regulation.

White wasn't done being clutch, as he's the sole reason the game went into overtime in the first place.
Trailing by three with just under 15 seconds to go, White buried another three-pointer to tie the game, one that would eventually send it into overtime.
If you missed it, you NEED to see this clutch shot from the former Tar Heel!

The play was one that we've seen scripted for elite shooters like Stephen Curry over the years. White hustled around the floor to his spot, caught the basketball, turned and shot it in one singular motion, taking an off-balance shot that left nothing but net!
White's 19 points off the bench were very much needed in this victory, as his second-half takeover ended up being the turning point in this game. Returning to his home state to continue his professional basketball career was a cool story this season in itself, but seeing what he did in his first playoff game as a Hornet makes the story that much sweeter.

Coby White attended North Carolina, a place where postseason basketball means everything. It's great to see that mindset never left him, as White and the Hornets have plans on continuing their season for the foreseeable future.
A hero has emerged in Charlotte, one who is just getting started this postseason!
