Pete Nance's play this season in the G-League has led him to another opportunity with an NBA club.
The Milwaukee Bucks are planning to sign F/C Pete Nance on a two-way NBA deal, sources tell ESPN. Nance played seven games for the 76ers this season amid a strong season for the G League's Cleveland Charge.

According to Shams Charania, the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to sign the former UNC basketball big man to a two-way NBA deal.
The former Tar Heel has seen some NBA action this season, appearing in seven games for the Philadelphia 76ers. In 12 G-League games this season (mostly with the Cleveland Charge), Nance is averaging 16.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. He's shooting 47.5% from the floor, including 36.1% from beyond the arc.
After waiving Liam Robbins, the Bucks had an open roster space to work with. When the Nance signing becomes official, Milwaukee will have 14 players on standard contracts and three on two-way deals, as they have the option to convert one of those players to a standard contract essentially before the deadline to sign players to two-way contracts (March 4).
While Nance's season with the UNC basketball program didn't go nearly as planned, the big man is a very talented player who can bring a lot to the table for an NBA team. Even though his NBA opportunities have been limited up to this point, Nance is a player that continues to thrive in the G-League, making a strong case for more opportunities with a big league club.
Now, it appears that the time is now for that to happen, as Nance is set to become the newest member of the Milwaukee Bucks organization.
