North Carolina receives absolutely no love on the 2025 Preseason All-ACC teams

Could this serve as some added motivation for Bill Belichick's squad heading into the new season?

If you're checking to see which UNC football players earned spots on the 2025 All-ACC preseason team, don't waste your time checking the list.

The Tar Heels are among the seven programs that did not have a player make the cut. North Carolina did nominate four players, Austin Blaske, Christo Kelly, Andrew Simpson, and Thad Dixon, but none earned enough votes to make the cut.

This shouldn't come as a surprise, especially considering how the media believes the 2025 UNC football team is a middle-of-the-pack level squad. With a ton of new faces in the mix, no one really knows what to expect from this year's team, as the changes are certainly drastic overall.

Don't be fooled: this team does have some quality talent. It's just that at this point, no one is hyping up any of the players, as the focus has simply been on Bill Belichick.

This is actually a good thing for the UNC football program. Let's remember: championships and individual accolades aren't earned in the preseason.

Add this as more bulletin board material for the UNC football program heading into the new season.
