Jim Tanner... it's time to get to work!
North Carolina is in desperate need of scoring this offseason, especially with the graduation of RJ Davis, the program's second all-time leading scorer. As the Tar Heels get ready for what is expected to be a hectic offseason, they should be running to the phone to contact this ACC transfer.
NEWS: Virginia guard Isaac McKneely is entering the transfer portal, source tells @On3sports. Will maintain the possibility of returning to Charlottesville.

With the transfer portal officially opened, Virginia guard Isaac McKneely has entered his name. While he isn't ruling out a return to the Cavaliers, he is looking at his potential options for his senior season.
North Carolina would be quite the fit, as it makes sense for both parties.
McKneely is coming off a season in which he averaged 14.7 points per game while shooting an impressive 42% from beyond the arc. He is very efficient in off-screens and spot-up situations while also being very effective in the pick and roll game as well.
Plus, McKneely has had success in the ACC for three seasons. There would be no concern that he can't continue to produce in this conference, given he'd just be switching uniforms.
We're in the early stages of the transfer portal, and we're still waiting to see what happens with the guys who have eligibility to return to the UNC basketball program. However, Jim Tanner, Hubert Davis and whoever else wants to be involved must do everything in their power to convince Isaac McKneely to spend his final collegiate season in Chapel Hill, as he has the skillset of a guy like Cormac Ryan and could make a tremendous impact for next year's squad.
