While North Carolina has had its fair share of players entering the transfer portal, there's at least one player who has no desire to explore other opportunities this offseason.
Luka Bogavac to return to North Carolina
The Mojkovac, Montenegro native confirmed to Andrew Jones of TarHeel247 that he will not be entering the transfer portal, electing to stay at North Carolina for another season.

Bogavac was a late addition to the 2025-2026 squad, serving as what many felt would be the final piece to the puzzle. As the regular season drew near, Bogavac's clearance was a major storyline, as he wasn't officially cleared to play until just about 30 minutes prior to the start of the regular season.
The international standout played in all 33 games for the Tar Heels last season, splitting time between the starting lineup and a reserve role. He averaged 24.3 minutes, 9.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 40.2 percent from the field and just under 35% from beyond the arc.
Fans will love to recall his outing against Clemson, one where he drained six three-points en route to a 20-point effort and, more importantly, a Tar Heels victory.
Bogavac serves as the first player from last year's squad to commit to staying at North Carolina, as he's a guy that could fit very nicely in Malone's system. The new head coach of the Tar Heels has a knack for unlocking players' potential, as the hope is that Bogavac can become more of a complete player under this new regime, being more than just an elite shooter and a solid facilitator.
It's safe to say that Malone will find ways to get Bogavac involved in the offense, as he probably is already drawing up plays in order to get his international guard some open looks for him to capitalize on once the season offically begins in just a few short months.
