Just shortly after Bill Belichick spoke to the UNC football team for the first time and was later introduced officially as the program's head coach to the media, Kobe Paysour entered his name into the transfer portal.

While it seemed like it was a sign that Paysour was planning on finishing his college career elsewhere, it appears that plans have changed.

Paysour's stint in the transfer portal lasted all of four days, as he has decided to play out his final season of eligibility in the place he's always called home.

This is big news for the UNC football program, as Paysour has been a very productive player during his time in Chapel Hill. Even though injuries have hampered him a bit, Paysour has 70 catches for 936 yards and seven touchdowns to his name through 29 games with the program.

The Bill Belichick effect at North Carolina is reaping its benefits, as the majority of the key contributors who entered the transfer portal have withdrew their name from it. The likes of Amare Campbell, Austin Blaske and Aidan Banfield have decided to stay with the UNC football program, as now the new staff will look to build around some of the key pieces they have in place.

It's safe to say that UNC football fans will be pleased to hear the latest news regarding another Tar Heel withdrawing from the transfer portal.
