Not many players from the Class of 2024 can score the basketball like Jordan Zubich can.

With a first name "Jordan," are we even surprised?!

Zubich is one of three incoming freshman for the UNC women's basketball program. Similar to her fellow freshmen classmates, Zubich comes to Chapel Hill with a very impressive resume, as her run as a high school player in the state of Minnesota was simply one of pure dominance.

Scoring over 3,000 career points puts you in very elite category!

As we know (as evident by the success Alyssa Ustby has had at North Carolina), Courtney Banghart and her staff are confident that Zubich will continue the program's success of finding premier talent from the state of Minnesota. Her skillset is one that could definitely earn her a significant role on this year's team, especially if she can shoot the ball effectively and consistently.

While we continue our player previews for the UNC women's basketball program's 2024-2025 season, let's get to know Jordan Zubich a bit:

Getting to Know Jordan Zubich

Class: Freshman

Ranking: No. 69 in the Class of 2024 (ESPN HoopGurlz)

What to Expect in 2024-2025

The UNC women's basketball program's backcourt is going to look a lot different this year, with plenty of new faces (along with some returners) for Banghart to work with. While the Tar Heels look for the right mix, don't be surprised if Zubich is very much in the mix, especially in situations where the team needs an offensive spark.

Heading into the season, I'm not expecting any of the freshmen to be starters for this year's squad, but as we all know things change rapidly. What I do expect is that all three will be contributors in some capacity, as their play early on in the season will dictate their minutes come conference play.

Don't be surprised if Zubich becomes one of Banghart's trusted reserves this season.

Bold Prediction

Jordan Zubich will have multiple games where she scores in double-figures.

I expect the scoring load to be spread out with this year's team, and Zubich will certainly have her fair share of nights where everything seems to be clicking. On those given nights, expect Banghart and the Tar Heels to make her a focal point of the offense, as her ability to score from all three levels will only make life easier for the team's talented group of front court players.

I don't know about you, but I'm excited for the first time we get to see Jordan Zubich absolutely be on fire offensively in front of the home crowd at Carmichael Arena.
