Jay Wright knows a thing or two about college basketball.

In fact, the long-time head coach, now broadcaster, was on set on Saturday following the UNC basketball program's comeback victory over UCLA. While the panel was discussing the Tar Heels' win, Wright believes this game is one we'll look back on as a turning point for the team's season.

"I think a lot of us are going to look back on this day and it's going to be the day that Carolina figured out how to play with four guards. Not Hubert Davis, he knew how to do it, he has to convince his team how they have to play with four guards. I think the team understood it today. I think we're gonna see Carolina start to roll a little bit from here."

Wright believes that it finally clicked for the players to understand how they have to play with four guards on the floor. While Hubert Davis has been preaching these types of things since day one, it can take some time to adjust, but Wright noted that he thinks it finally clicked for this group on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Tar Heel fans hope that Wright is right on this one!

While playing with smaller lineups, the Tar Heels out-rebounded the Bruins, holding them to just 28 rebounds. The effort was evident, as it was a full team effort on the boards. What was even more notable was the effort on the loose balls, as North Carolina played scrappy to haul in some important boards on both sides of the floor.

The early part of the season has been tough for the UNC basketball program, but a victory like Saturday's could be the one to turn the season right around. According to Wright, he believes this will be the one that we can pinpoint as the game where North Carolina figured it out.
