Duke fans are feeling betrayed by former Blue Devil Jay Williams!

On ESPN's College GameDay, Williams, one of the most decorated players in Duke basketball history, did something that seems blasphemous to Duke fans around the world.

What did Williams do? Well, you'll just have to see for yourself!

Williams led the "TAR HEELS" chant with the fans at the Dean Smith Center, where the place was loud even though the crowd wasn't sold out. While UNC fans loved the moment, it made Duke fans sick to their stomach, as one of the greatest players to ever wear the Blue Devil uniform betrayed his former school.

As time goes on, it becomes more evident that Jay Williams will always love North Carolina, regardless of the fact that he spent his college career on the other side of Tobacco Road.

Social Media ERUPTS following Williams' actions!

It didn't take long for social media to react following Williams leading the "TAR HEEL" chant, as Duke fans are sick to their stomachs after that occurred.

Here are some of the best reactions from that moment:

Just face it: Jay Williams loves UNC

Sorry, Duke fans, Jay Williams will ALWAYS love UNC, regardless of where he played his college career.

The former Blue Devil has mentioned on multiple occasions that he wanted to go to UNC but was over recruited, providing another "what if" for players who wanted to initially play for the better blue program.

While we'll never know the answer to that "what if," we do know this: deep down, Jay Williams loves the Tar Heels, and we love how it makes Duke fans sick over it.
