Javonte Williams did Javonte Williams-type things on Thursday Night Football.

The former UNC football star put together his best overall performance thus far this season, recording 111 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in the Denver Broncos victory over the New Orleans Saints. Denver has now won four of its last five contests.

It was a great bounce-back performance for Williams who was not utilized much in the Broncos' loss to the Los Angeles Chargers just a few days prior. The former Tar Heel was back to getting his regular touches and simply capitalized on them, averaging 6.3 yards per-carry and 7.7 yards per-reception.

Through the first three games of the season (two of which resulted in losses), Williams struggled to find a groove. While it took some time to get in a rhythm, Williams has been much more effective overall as his production has played a big part in the team's recent stretch of success.

Thursday night's game made UNC football fans remember the good times of when Williams was running all over opposing defenses in Chapel Hill, as he looked healthy and extremely productive in this primetime game. The hope is that Williams can continue building on his recent success with the Broncos, who weren't projected by many to be very good this season, now vying for a potential playoff run as the season rolls along.
