Javonte Williams has been outstanding through the first five games of his Dallas Cowboys career.

The former UNC football star has rushed for 447 yards and five touchdowns, adding a much-needed element to the Cowboys' offensive attack. He's also been an active participant in the passing game, adding 17 receptions for an additional 78 yards and a score.

His best two games thus far have come against teams who share the same stadium: the New York Giants and New York Jets.

While both reside in East Rutherford, New Jersey, contrary to their name, they both have more than sharing a stadium in common. Neither team can slow down Williams, who has been extremely productive in both matchups this season.

In a 40-37 overtime victory over the Giants, Williams rushed for 97 yards and a score, finishing the game with 130 yards from scrimmage. This weekend, Williams went off at MetLife Stadium, rushing for a career-high 135 yards and a score on the ground while adding an additional receiving touchdown en route to a decisive victory over the Jets.

The good news for Williams is that he has one more regular season game against the Giants, which will be held on the same field he just had a career day on.

It's great to see the now 25-year-old healthy, looking like the player who was an absolute workhorse for the UNC football program about a half decade ago. He's on pace to surpass his career-high in rushing yards (903 which he set during his rookie season in 2021), and has already set a new career-high in rushing touchdowns (which he could absolutely shatter if he continues playing at this pace).

Javonte Williams is doing Javonte Williams-type things, and you simply love to see it from the former UNC football star.
