Henri Veesaar was a big addition for the UNC basketball program this offseason.
The seven-footer is expected to provide North Carolina with size in the front court, something last year's squad desperately lacked. While he's a strong rim protector and finisher on the block, he also has the ability to stretch the floor, an area that will help the Tar Heels' floor spacing.
On their new podcast, 3 True Values Big Board, Jamie Shaw and James Fletcher III discussed college basketball stars who could very well be in the NBA Draft conversation in a couple of months. Veesaar's name surfaced during the conversation, as Shaw believes the Tar Heels' new big man could be an intriguing NBA Draft sleeper.

Here's what Shaw had to say:
"Henri Veesaar of UNC is one that I'm going to be very intrigued to see how it plays out with him. Seven footer coming over from Arizona, he's very skilled offensively.
He's going to be used in a lot of different situations, it looks like, for UNC. Again, somebody who's able to step out and stretch the floor. But, he's also able to play out of a short role. He is also able to play on the block, find open spots and uses a hub as a passer. There's going to be a lot of high, low stuff that they have going through, with Vessaar and what he has, with Caleb Wilson. Being able to create advantages in the half court in that manner, being able to stretch the floor, being able to score for multiple levels.
What does he look like defensively? How does he move the switching stuff? He's legit seven foot, huge offensive analytics this past year in Arizona. Eager to see how it transfers, into a bigger role. 20 minutes a game this past year, eager to see what it looks like in 28 to 30 or so minutes, in the ACC as a central hub in the half court for UNC.
He's got a chance to take a big step. Obviously, he's got to take a step. (He's) still thin, but it's going to be interesting to see what type of step he takes and how that step looks."
Of course, Veesaar having a monster season for the UNC basketball program would bode well for both him and the program, as he could really turn the heads of NBA scouts if he's able to showcase his full potential.
