Can O'Mari Johnson just make up his mind already?!

The three-star prospect has decommitted from the UNC football program for the second time over the last few months.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Johnson originally committed to North Carolina on April 6, only to re-open his recruitment on May 30. On July 1, Johnson once again committed to the UNC football program, only to change his mind again just over three months later.

Now, all signs point to Johnson committing to Ole Miss, but based on how his recruitment has gone up to this point, no commitment from him should be taken with a grain of salt.

Sure, no one wants to lose commitments from their respective recruiting classes. However, this situation is a bit different, as it featured an indecisive three-star athlete who simply doesn't know where he wants to call home to begin his college career.

For North Carolina, it's probably for the best, given that he was likely destined to make this move and doesn't seem to be ready to settle somewhere for the long haul. Who wants a recruit who they need to walk on eggshells with in fear he'll pick up his things at any moment and bolt?

No hard feelings toward the student-athlete whatsoever: he made the decision that was best for him. However, Bill Belichick and the UNC football program's staff should lose his number and avoid this from occurring again, not waiting on that "third times a charm" for him to fully commit to them.

This recruiting saga has been a roller coaster, hopefully one that North Carolina is officially off for good.
