Ahead of the 2025 USA Basketball Men’s U19 National Team training camp at the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Basketball announced the list of 33 athletes who are expected to participate.

Training camp will begin on June 14, as a 12-member roster will be announced for the upcoming 2025 FIBA Men's World Cup in Switzerland. As USA Basketball evaluates the star-studded talent, Hubert Davis has been tabbed as a coach for this year's training camp.

The 2025 USA Basketball Men’s U19 National Team will be led by head coach Tommy Lloyd. Lloyd, Arizona's head coach, will be assisted by Grant McCasland of Texas Tech and Micah Shrewsberry of Notre Dame.

Davis will serve as a court coach, assisting during the training camp process. He will be joined by Alabama's Nate Oats and Kentucky's Mark Pope as the other court coaches for this year's camp.

While this will be a good experience for Davis, it could also serve as a valuable recruiting advantage for the UNC basketball program. Even though the majority of participants are either already at the college ranks or are set to enter their freshman year on their respective campuses, there will be plenty of Class of 2026 standouts who will be participating.

In fact: the following players who have received offers from North Carolina will get to work with Davis: Deron Rippey Jr., Jordan Smith Jr., Caleb Holt and Tyran Stokes.

Davis has earned the respect of his peers by being trusted to help put the best team together for USA Basketball. This will be a great experience for the Tar Heels head coach as he'll not only work alongside some of the best coaches the sport has to offer, but will also get a first-hand glimpse of some of the top-tier talent in the pipeline for future recruiting classes.
